7. Really not sure about the analysis, seems to be plenty of confirmation bias, regarding wallet allocations.

   SWB went to the wall because it was insolvent, it went insolvent because it had a cash call from investors.
   It was unable to raise enough money, because it was invested in bonds, the price of said bonds, was less than it paid for them….
   Why was that… you might ask…
   The price of all bonds go down, as interest rates go up…
   Most all banks hold bonds instead of cash (because they get a yield and it's a very liquid market)
   Many Banks are in a similar position (it's called unrealized losses)
   I would GUESS that interest rates will not go much higher, because more Banks would end up going the same way as SVB…
   Also what alternatives are there to investors, that don't trust the (very fragile) legacy financial system .
   Just my thoughts
